This is really a bad news for all Indians. Following yesterday’s Bangalore Blast, Ahmedabad is now in ATTACK. According to Yahoo News, 17 blasts terrorized Ahmedabad today, killing 29 people and several (more than 100) injured.
BBC News also reports the same news here.
Here is a quote from Yahoo news that you should read about this blast.
Just before the blasts took place a group called the Indian Mujahiddin sent an e-mail to a television channel saying that there would be blasts in Ahmedabad.
This is the same group that had sent e-mails after the Jaipur blasts in May 2008.
This is really getting worse as many people are now afraid to go out of their houses here…
UPDATE: Here is an eye witness account report on NDTV. The main NDTV news here.

The serial blasts that occurred in several parts of the country further highlighted the importance of security for Wi-Fi networks when it became clear that terrorists had hacked into a Wi-Fi network to send terror emails much before the actual blasts. The terror mail sent using a proxy server normally cannot be traced without any security device deployed.
Computer experts say that in the absence of any such device, it is impossible to track down culprits. Computer engineers of the Ahmedabadbased Company, Cyberoam, helped cops track down the culprits. This was made possible due to a firewall product used by the institute to maintain security. Cyberoam Identity-based UTM Firewall appliance has helped in tracking down the terror mail regarding the recent Ahmedabad Bomb Blasts on 26th July. The Institute had deployed the Cyberoam UTM appliance. It was with the help of Cyberoam reports that they were able to zero in on the IP Address of the computer from where the mails were sent.
Cyberoam’s identity-based solutions provide a complete range of security features, including identity-based firewall, VPN, gateway antivirus, gateway anti-spam, intrusion detection and prevention, content filtering, as well as bandwidth management and multiple link management – all over a single platform. Thus Cyberoam is a comprehensive security product that includes multiple security features integrated into one device.
